Is this the right class for me? Yes! This class is for healthcare professionals working in Los Angeles city, Los Angeles County. You may have been asked to get this card by your employer, hospital, staffing agency or other facility. This is the official card accepted by hospitals and schools in LA County. Additionally, anyone may take the class. This class is open to the public 18 years or older or with a supervised adult.

How long is the class? The class is 4 hours long.

What card to I get? A blue certification card.

 

How long is the certification card valid for? 4 years

What is the difference between the Fire Safety Class Online (Basic) and the Fire Safety Class Online (FastTrack)? The basic class is offered 3X per week. The FastTrack class is offered up to 13X per week.

HOW will I get my card? Your card is sent to you after the class via TEXT and via standard USPS MAIL. 

​

WHEN will I get my card? Via text (within 3 hours of your class). Via standard USPS mail (varies).

 

We offer the class as an option with Priority Mail with tracking provided. Cards are usually received within 1-3 business days. The Priority Mail option is highly recommended.

What device can I use to take the class? You can use a desktop, laptop, iPad, tablet or your cell phone.

​

How is the class taught? Via Zoom.

​

Who is the class certified by? The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD).

 

What is this class about? The class is a comprehensive fire safety class that includes fire safety at work, home and in the community. The class covers several topics including: general fire safety, fire prevention, how to use a fire extinguisher, types of fire extinguishers, evacuation routes, how to rescue others, carbon monoxide detectors, fire alarms, and more!

When is the class available? Daily online. We offer morning, evening and weekend classes.

​

How do I register? You may register online 24/7.

​

How do I pay? You may pay at the same time of registration. We accept debit cards, credit cards, PayPal and Affirm on the Register Page. You may also contact us if you would like to use Venmo, Cash App or Apple Pay.

What happens after I register? Will I get a link? You will be sent a confirmation email upon registration. Your Zoom login information will be sent approximately 2 hours before your class starts.

What time zone are your classes in? Local Los Angeles time or PST. Click here for time zone conversions.

What if I have problems logging in the class? We have a dedicated support line to help you. 

​

Can I reschedule? You may reschedule for FREE as long as you text us before your class starts.

​

How much is the class? Fire Safety Class Online (Basic) is $65. Fire Safety Class Online (FastTrack) is $100.

I was told by my employer/school that I also need an MAB or CPI class. Do you offer those classes? Yes! We offer combos to save you money. Select "MAB + Fire Safety Combo" or "CPI + Fire Safety Combo" for $155 on Register Page.
