IV THERAPY & BLOOD WITHDRAWAL (IVBW)
The IV Therapy & Blood Withdrawal class provides hands-on training in intravenous access and specimen collection. Taught by an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) and Licensed Certified Phlebotomist (CPT I), this course covers proper IV insertion, venipuncture techniques, and patient safety in a supportive setting.
This 36-hour course is features comprehensive learning and hands-on practice. Upon completion, students will receive 36 CEUs. The official course is certified by the California BVNPT.

CERTIFIED EKG TECHNICIAN TRAINING PROGRAM
The Certified EKG Technician (CET) Training Program at LA Fire Card provides hands-on training in cardiac monitoring, 12-lead EKG placement, and basic rhythm recognition. This fast-track program is designed to teach students the practical skills needed to perform electrocardiograms in hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic settings.
Students will learn proper patient preparation, electrode placement, infection control practices, and how to recognize normal and abnormal cardiac rhythms. Training is led by experienced healthcare professionals and focuses on building real clinical skills and confidence.
Participants will gain practical experience through hands-on training, small class sizes, and real-world healthcare scenarios. This program prepares students to pursue national certification through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified EKG Technician (CET) exam.
