Intravenous (IV) Therapy Certification Class 30-Hour Intensive | 3 Days | In-Person Only Important Scheduling Note: The date selected at registration is Day 1 of Three Consecutive Required Class Days. Attendance on all three days is mandatory. This immersive 3-Day, 30-Hour In-Person Class is ideal for Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals seeking to strengthen IV insertion skills, build confidence, and perform multiple successful IV starts. What You Will Learn: — IV Therapy Fundamentals and Safety — Vein Assessment and Site Selection — Step-by-Step IV Catheter Insertion — Catheter Care and Troubleshooting — Infection Control and Patient Safety — Management of Difficult IV Starts Hands-On Training: — Hyperrealistic IV Arm Practice With Blood Simulation — Multiple Live IV Insertions on Classmates — Real-Time Instructor Coaching — Small-Group Format — In-Person Skills Assessment to Verify Competency Instructor: Taught by a Registered ICU Nurse (RN) and Licensed Certified Phlebotomist (CPT I) with extensive clinical and instructional experience. Class Format: Three (3) Consecutive Days, In Person — 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM Daily — Total of 30 Contact Hours. Who This Class Is For: Registered Nurses, New Graduate RNs, Travel and Clinic RNs, Other Healthcare Professionals, and LVNs Pursuing IV Therapy Training Toward BVNPT Licensure. Certification: Certificate of Completion for 30 Contact Hours (CEUs). LVNs May Apply Toward BVNPT IV Therapy Licensure (additional $50 fee upon course completion). RNs Attend for Skills Validation and Continuing Education.
