Service Description

This class is PART TWO and the in-person requirement of the NRP certification course. Students must complete Part ONE of NRP ONLINE prior to enrolling in this in-person course. PART ONE is available at: https://www.aap.org/en-us/Documents/nrp_provider_howto.pdf Students must bring their certification of completion of PART ONE to their in-person NRP course. Students who do not bring their certification of completion to class will not be certified. The Neonatal Resuscitation Program® (NRP®) course conveys an evidence-based approach to care of the newborn at birth and facilitates e​ffective team-based care for healthcare professionals who care for newborns at the time of delivery. NRP utilizes a blended learning approach, which includes online testing, online case-based simulations, and hands-on case-based simulation/debriefing that focus on critical leadership, communication, and team-work skills.​​ This class in NON-REFUNDABLE; there are no exceptions. Students may reschedule their class within 90 days without paying full price. There is a $75 rescheduling fee. This fee cannot be waived. Rescheduling is based on availability. The student must be "new" to LA Fire Card meaning that they have never taken a class with our company before. Both you and the student will receive certifications. The FREE class will be issued once both students have completed the initial class.
