This class is PART TWO and the in-person requirement of the NRP certification course. Students must complete Part ONE of NRP ONLINE prior to enrolling in this in-person course. PART ONE is available at: https://www.aap.org/en-us/Documents/nrp_provider_howto.pdf Students must bring their certification of completion of PART ONE to their in-person NRP course. Students who do not bring their certification of completion to class will not be certified. The Neonatal Resuscitation Program® (NRP®) course conveys an evidence-based approach to care of the newborn at birth and facilitates effective team-based care for healthcare professionals who care for newborns at the time of delivery. NRP utilizes a blended learning approach, which includes online testing, online case-based simulations, and hands-on case-based simulation/debriefing that focus on critical leadership, communication, and team-work skills. This class in NON-REFUNDABLE; there are no exceptions. Students may reschedule their class within 90 days without paying full price. There is a $75 rescheduling fee. This fee cannot be waived. REGISTRATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY: By registering for the class, you acknowledge, understand and agree to the following: ALL FEES paid for the class, service or product along with any deposits ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. BE ADVISED BEFORE REGISTERING AND SUBMITTING PAYMENT, THERE IS 100% NO CIRCUMSTANCE WHERE A REFUND WILL BE ISSUED (including student cancellations, company cancellations, "Acts of God", natural disasters, state of emergency, terrorism, global or national pandemic, "change of heart", student discovery of no need or desire to take a class, obtain a service or product, etc. The deposit and/or fee holds your seat for the class. You also acknowledge that you have read and understand the Class Description for the class for which you have registered and that you have registered for the appropriate class. You may contact LA Fire Card at any time with questions about a class before registering, but once you pay for the class, all fees are non-refundable. You agree to read the Confirmation and Reminder Emails emailed to the email address you provided in their entirety, and are responsible for the information included in those emails. You agree to have LA Fire Card debit your bank account for the class amount via PayPal or other 3rd party systems, and you authorize the transaction by entering in your contact and banking information at the time of registration. You are responsible for providing and/or updating your correct contact information during and after class registration as needed (email address, mailing address, phone number) so that you may receive correspondence in a timely manner. LA Fire Card strives to provide a very professional and respectful learning environment for all students. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. STUDENT CODE OF CONDUCT: If you are found to be disrespectful (verbal, written and electronic communications included) or disruptive to the staff, instructors or students at anytime before, during or after the class you will be in violation of the Student Code of Conduct and you will be asked to leave the class immediately, prevented from enrolling in future classes and all fees paid and certifications will be forfeited.
