This online course trains bystanders and healthcare professionals how to administer care to others with confidence in a life-threatening situation, where a victim or victims may lose their life due to a serious injury. Unfortunately, there are more mass casualty events in the United States and around the globe due to serious accidents or active threat incidents. Citizens are generally the first to arrive on a scene before 911 has been called and professional EMS providers arrive. These critical moments can make the difference between life and death for individuals with critical injuries.
